Are you ready for a German Shepherd? We all love them, am I right? But they are a lot of work. Read the questions below if you want a German Shepherd.
- Do you have time to clean up after your German Shepherd?
- Do you have time to brush it every day?
- Do you have time to feed and water it every day?
- Do you have time to play with it every day?
- Do you have time to take it to the vet regularly?
If you answered yes to all these questions, you are ready for a German Shepherd.
Here are some pros and cons about having a German Shepherd. First I will be giving pros of having a German Shepherd:
- German Shepherds are cuddle bugs.
- They give their family members protection.
- A man’s best friend.
- Give you company.
- They will never judge you.
- Loves you unconditionally.
and many more but these are a few of the main points.
Now I will be giving the cons of having a German Shepherd:
- Having to clean up the muddy footprint tracks in the house.
- Having to pick up poop.
- Them shedding their coats
- Letting them in and out of the house when they think they see a squirrel
- You may have to board them in a kennel when you go on vacation.
- Their size and bark might scare your friends and your friends may not want to come to your house.
Dogs in my opinion are great companions or partners. They are an amazing type of animal you could have. It’s amazing how a dog can somehow create a relationship between the two of you.
Even though they are a lot of work, I wouldn’t trade Mia for anything in the whole wide world. Mia means the world to me and she gets worried when she can’t see me while playing hide and seek. She gets all excited and runs in circles around me when she finally does. When I come home from school she is always at the door to greet me and off we go outdoors playing chase, hide and seek, or chase the ball. As a puppy, Mia was cute and soft, but she grew fast and is now fierce and not cute. The point is that puppies are cute, but after they grow into big dogs, you can’t just leave them in the corner. As I said they DO protect you so you should respect them.
